Julien Ledard, one of our project studies manager went around the Mont-Blanc during the 2nd step of Salomon Golden Trail World Series : the Mont-Blanc Marathon, in Chamonix. With a start at 7.30am, he climbed the higher mountain of France for 8 hours and 40 minutes. On around 3000 runners, he was the 1613th !

The Salomon Golden Trail World Series is a competition of seven runs from May to October. They take place in Spain, France, Italy, Switzerland and United States. the Mont-Blanc Marathon, which is its second step, stretches over 42 km, with 2 540 m of vertical drop. The itinerary presents intensive steps, like the steep slopes of the Aiguillette des Posettes, and then, shows an incredible view of the alpine landscape.
