The Paprec sorting center in Chagny is now operational after a year of studies and construction. This new facility marks a significant step in improving waste processing and recovery capacity in the region. Thanks to modern and efficient equipment, the site is fully aligned with current environmental transition goals.
The site is dedicated to sorting household waste and benefits from state-of-the-art industrial equipment. The facility can process up to 24 tonnes of waste per hour, or nearly 72,000 tonnes per year.
This new infrastructure optimizes the use of waste streams and improves the overall performance of the region in terms of recycling and waste management. It also forms part of a broader approach to innovation and industrial efficiency in the waste treatment sector.
