In Harnes, the future sorting center for AEDs is taking shape

The Harnes sorting center project has reached a new stage. Vauché is currently assisting Ramery in the design and implementation of this site dedicated to the treatment of WEEE (Waste from Economic Activities), with a clear ambition: to combine industrial performance and the reuse of existing equipment.

A site designed for efficiency and sustainability

This future sorting center is based on a technical and responsible approach. The objective is to maximize waste recovery while optimizing the use of existing resources, within a circular economy framework.

The installation will include, in particular:

  • Approximately 30 conveyors ensure the smooth flow of materials.
  • 1 trommel, for particle size sorting of waste
  • Two air separators, allowing for efficient separation of light and heavy fractions.

Commissioning imminent

The center is scheduled to open in June 2026. The coming weeks will therefore be crucial in seeing this structuring project fully come to life in the Pas-de-Calais region.

A project in line with current challenges

For Vauché, this project fully illustrates its commitment to developing customized, sustainable solutions adapted to the contemporary challenges of waste management. By working closely with Ramery, the company is helping to create high-performance infrastructure that supports the environmental transition.
