SUEZ Barisien: construction of a future sorting center
The SUEZ Barisien site is beginning its transformation. Teams are currently dismantling the old sorting line. This first step frees up the space needed to install the new equipment. Installation will begin at the start of May.
In 2021, SUEZ was selected by Citeo following a call for expressions of interest. This project supports the expansion of recycling guidelines implemented in France.
The site will become a further sorting center. It will allow for more efficient separation of the different plastic materials collected through selective sorting. This development will contribute to improving the recycling of household packaging.
