Vauché SA, established in 1860 in Sedan (Ardennes) and manufacturer of sorting plants for 25 years has announced its joint venture with Ar-Val, located in Saint Ave (near Vannes), also a manufacturer of sorting units
Vauché SA has pledged a 44% stake in AR-Val’s capital which shows the extent of the willingness of both parties to form a strong parternship.
Respectively French N°1 and N°3 in their sector, the group will give rise to the first European leader in their field. “With a list of around 200 references of built units, the cumulated know-how of the two companies will make it possible to offer our customers, not only the capacities of research and manufacturing of very large construction units, but also the best equipment resulting from the experience of each company, while preserving their commercial independence. We will group our purchasing in order to offer our customers competitive prices on equipment, restoration and sorting plants from the smallest to the largest. ” stated Stephane Vauché, chairman of Vauché SA.
In addition to Vauché and Ar-Val, the group is also made up of Vauché Bioma Italia (based in Italy) and a new company, Urbawaste, recently created by Vauché in partnership with professionals for the treatment of sludge purification and organic waste.
In addition, Patrick Denis, chairman of Ar-Val specified “It was necessary for Ar-Val to join a recognized industrialist in order to continue our development. Vauché represents the best strategy for us. Indeed, the capacity of the group will allow an more developed international presence, propelling us to countries where the environmental conscience favours the installation of treatment units. ”.
The year 2007 has started very well for both companies, the estimated sales turnover of the group will exceed 20 Million euros for the year, and about fifteen factories will be put in power.
In concrete terms, Vauché will be in charge of building treatment units of household refuse known as “Sevadec” in Calais with “Valorga” and “Smictom des Châtelets” in Ploufragan, as well as “Provence Recyclage” (Istres) for selective collection and the factory of the “Communauté Urbaine de Lille” (60 000 Tons).
It has also just obtained the go-ahead for three sorting plants of household refuse from “Sytrad” (Valence) as well as the unit of “Fos sur Mer” with the Urbaser Company, of a capacity of 444.000 Tons per year, the largest in France.
The Ar-Val Company is finishing the treatment units of selective collection of Sidompe (Plaisir) and “Grand Dijon”, and also got the go-ahead for units in Vannes, Saint Malo and the modification of the unit of Bourbié. But it is the unit for “Syctom de Paris” (Paris XVème) which represents its greatest victory of the year.
